where does the time go?

seriously? Drew and I just visited a good friend who just had a DARLING little boy and he was sooo tiny! But in reality, he was the same size as Jack when he was born! Time just flies and they just change way too fast! Jack has changed so much in the last few months. He has picked up crawling so quickly and just loves his freedom!

5 going on 100????

Today was Hallie's 100th day of school. So she brought in 100 skittles to share with her friends and had to dress up like she was 100 years old. We found an old wooded cane at Goodwill on Tuesday and took it home to Dad to shorten to her size. We also picked up some small grandma-looking glasses. We sprayed her hair grey in a bun and added some pinkalicious lipstick. Her "shawl" is my baby blanket that my great-grandma made for me. I'm probably crazy for sending it to school with Hallie but she needed SOMETHING and that was what we came up with! I think she was looking pretty cute for a granny!

Obviously, Hallie was lovin' the lipstick and got Jack on the forehead. He's such a great baby!

My Life...

These little ones are pretty much my life in a nutshell! A choice that I made for myself...to be a mother--at a young age and have my kids so close together. I keep telling myself that I will make it to age 43 (hopefully!)--the prime age that I will be when I am an EMPTY NESTER...along with my amazing husband! But for now I am enjoying the journey with these little bums! :) This is Christmas morning.
